Biocraft XR fly rods are the most technologically advanced fly rods ever produced by Shimano, offering a remarkable combination of casting performance, practicality, and excellent value for money. The Biocraft XR represents a unique blend of technology and fishing knowledge. Lightweight, responsive, and perfectly finished, the Biocraft XR stands out among its price range and competes seriously with some of America's high-priced competitors. With 25 models available, there's something for everyone, from fine rods to powerful rods designed for exotic fish.

At the heart of every Biocraft XR is an astonishing combination of exclusive Shimano carbon technology, achieving the perfect action for the rod's purpose. The high-modulus blanks are composed of HPC, biofibres, nanofibres, and Diaflash in various blends. This combination results in lightness and finesse in stream and lightweight models, along with unrivaled control, power, and casting performance in powerful models and two-handed rods. As expected from a top-of-the-range rod, the blanks are of the highest quality and selected for their performance characteristics. Seaguide and Fuji SIC guides ensure lightness combined with strength, while the Seaguide reel seats blend perfectly with traditional cork handles. Each rod comes with a velvet bag and a hard case carry tube.

To fully appreciate the Biocraft XR, you'll need to handle it and put it through its paces. Only then will you truly understand the performance of a rod that costs half the price of its competitors. Biocraft XR - born to fly!

- High-modulus all-carbon blank with HPC, biofibre, nanosheet, and Diaflash
- Seaguide and Fuji SIC rings selected for each model application
- Custom Seaguide reel seat with traditional cork handle
- Velvet bag and rigid carry tube.
