The legendary SPD technology ensures outstanding performance. Compared to its predecessors, the XT PD-M8100 has a 2.8 mm wider contact area and a platform that is lowered by 0.5 mm. This noticeably increases the efficiency of the pedals, making them particularly suitable for use in MTB Cross Country or Cross Country Racing. Included in the package are the corresponding SM-SH51 cleats, as is standard with Shimano. The pedal body is made of anodized aluminum, while the pedal axle is crafted from chromoly steel. The compact bearing is sealed. Even in this new version, the XT clipless pedals remain reliable and nearly indestructible classics for dedicated mountain bikers, offering improved performance compared to their predecessors.
