The new XT T8000 with trekking-specific components offers top-notch functionality for demanding riders, just like its counterpart for mountain biking. The 3x10 Rapidfire Plus shifters utilize Shimano's leading technologies: Instant, Multi, and 2Way-Release, ensuring quick and precise gear changes.
Rapidfire Plus is designed for fast shifting. The rider can downshift by up to three gears with a single shift stroke.
Rapidfire Plus shifters are equipped with 2Way-Release, meaning the shift cable can be released by pulling with the index finger or pressing with the thumb.
The Instant-Release shifting process replaces the two-step click and release action. With Instant-Release, the cable is released immediately upon lever activation, achieving the fastest possible gear change.
