This SIL-TEC technology is a superior, modern coating process that significantly improves system performance through the use of embedded fluorine particles. It has been shown that SIL-TEC products run smoother and with less friction, resulting in less wear under all conditions. The CN-HG 600 chain has been developed in conjunction with other shifting components for optimal power transfer. Despite the significant reduction in material (narrower width), it offers the same durability as current 10-speed chains. Additionally, the universal use of the chain with all Shimano 11-speed systems is very practical.
