The new Shimano Kairiki 8 is a revamped 8-strand braided line made in Japan, now featuring the "VT construction Method" braiding technology. It is a very strong and smooth PE line, perfect for casting long distances. It is available in diameters ranging from 0.06 mm to 0.42 mm and boasts an impressive breaking strength of 46.7 kg. The line offers ideal properties for spinning in both freshwater and saltwater, as it is highly sensitive and smooth, which also contributes to noise reduction. In addition to Mantis Green and Steel Grey, two more colors will be available: a very striking yellow and a multicolor option. The multicolor option is particularly interesting for fishing at greater depths. Due to its softness and small diameter, the Kairiki 8 is an excellent line for jigging, as it has low water resistance and a maximum stretch of less than 3.0%.
