The SLX rear derailleurs of the M7100 series offer excellent shifting performance with less tension in the low gears and a damper on the cage. The larger 13Z deflection rollers provide more efficiency and better chain management, while compatibility with Shimano's new 12-speed cassette significantly increases bandwidth. The largest pinion is 51 teeth, with a minimum of 45 teeth, and the smallest pinion is 10 teeth, with a total capacity of 41 teeth.
