Organic brake pads with steel or aluminium carriers for Avid Trail or Sram Guide disc brakes. Brake pads with organic pads are easier to dose than metallic ones, but offer less braking power and wear out somewhat faster. The noise level in wet conditions and the thermal load on the brake are lower than with metallic pads.
