With an adjustment range of 55-73mm this brake is perfect for wide tires or for use of 650b wheels on a 700c frame. The quick-release mechanism allows the wheels to be removed without deflating. ? Available as "Recessed" or "Nutted" version. The decisive factor is the age of the frame. Short explanation : Until the seventies the bolt of the brake was put through the hole and fixed with a nut. For this reason, the bolt of the brake was longer and the hole was smaller. (Nutted) Later the bolt of the brake is shorter and fixed with a sleeve nut. But for this the hole must have a larger diameter.
