In smash tests reaching speeds of up to 300 km/h, Yonex Mavis nylon shuttles stabilized after just 0.020 seconds, only 0.005 seconds longer than a natural feather shuttlecock. This means that the Yonex Mavis takes only slightly longer to achieve a stable flight path.
