Uvex break resistant eyewear guarantees maximum eye protection at all times with specially made polycarbonate lenses that meet the standard for ski and safety goggles. During testing, they were tested for resistance to fired 6-mm steel balls flying at a speed of 162 km/h without breaking, ensuring maximum protection.
Uvex glasses are extremely maintenance-free thanks to the materials used. A special antistatic coating prevents dirt and dust from settling on the glass, resulting in clearer visibility even under extreme conditions. Normal maintenance should be used, and the use of aggressive chemicals is not recommended due to possible damage.
Robust and scratch-resistant, the lenses are made of highly durable polycarbonate, resistant up to -40 °C. They have a special scratch-resistant coating according to EN 1836, except for mirror lenses.
