ABUS Passive Glass Break Detector Potential-Free - Brown

With the passive glass break detector, you can monitor a single window pane. The detector is directly attached to the window pane that needs to be secured. The ultrasonic frequencies generated by glass breakage are detected and reported to the alarm control panel.

The passive glass break detector is mounted at a distance of 20 to 50 mm from the window frame. Important: The detector should be installed in such a way that you immediately notice if there is no longer contact with the pane. The cable should not be pinched when opening/closing the window. Installed in a corner of the window, the passive glass break detector monitors an area of up to 4 m². Its maximum monitoring radius is 2 meters.

The passive glass break detector operates with an integrated piezo element. It responds to the sound frequency generated by breaking glass. In the event of an alarm, a CMOS relay is activated. The glass break detector is potential-free, meaning no power supply is necessary. The glass break detector is available in white (FU7300W) and brown (FU/300B).
