Product details

For the thread repair of damaged or worn threads. Suitable for creating new, stable, and durable internal threads. Perfect for maintenance and installation. The repair is carried out in just a few steps:

  • Drill out the damaged thread with the spiral drill.
  • Use the special thread cutter to cut the internal thread into the drilled hole.
  • For installation, place the thread insert onto the installation tool and screw it into the thread.
  • Insert with light pressure.
  • The use of cutting oil is recommended.

Delivery includes:

  • 1 HSS spiral drill, core hole size 18.4 mm, for BGS 9433.
  • 1 STI short thread tap, HSS-G, M18 x 1.5 mm.
  • 1 installation tool with locking ring.
  • 5 thread inserts, M18 x 1.5 mm.
