The ESD safety work shoe QS500 from Birkenstock features a removable footbed that provides secure support and relieves the feet, allowing for comfortable standing, walking, and running for many hours a day even in challenging environments. The QS500 is designed as a simple, modern sneaker with a 6-hole lacing system.

It is specifically developed for individuals in the microelectronics field or high-frequency technology and actively ensures a continuous gentle discharge for the wearer. The antistatic elements in the sole balance potential electrical voltage differences between the person and the work environment through constant grounding of the feet, identifiable by the circular yellow emblem. Warning: The ESD range is up to 35 MOhm, meaning it does not provide insulation!

The slip-resistant, metal-free, as well as oil and gasoline-resistant outsole also provides energy absorption in the heel area and is puncture-resistant. A 200 Joule steel toe cap with scratch-resistant protection safeguards the forefoot. The upper material is made of water-repellent smooth leather and offers antistatic protection.
