Product details
In designing the Boker Plus Kihon DC, the American knifemaker Lucas Burnley embodies the idea of Japanese Kihon. The term originally encompasses the basics and essential techniques of Japanese martial arts, which Burnley translates into a solid knife for everyday use. Its features and simple design are evidence of its high practicality and make this knife with its clear price-performance advantage the ideal basis for everyday cutting work. The satin-finished D2 drop-point blade opens smoothly via the removable thumb stud thanks to the ball bearing, while the cross-lock mechanism guarantees intuitive, safe and practical unlocking of the knife. The 2.0 versions of the popular model are also suitable as a lightweight full-size EDC thanks to a 15 % weight reduction. The non-slip handle with textured squares is made of hard-wearing GFN and is comfortable to hold. Blue anodised rings around the blade turning screw and the large handle screw give the Kihon a filigree touch. With eyelet for a lanyard and foldable, fold-up wire clip for flexible carrying options.
