The step drill is suitable for thin materials made of non-ferrous metals, stainless steel, and plastics, as well as sheet steel and plastic panels. It features a 3-flat shank. The drill bit is made of HSS steel and coated with AlTiN (Aluminum-Titanium-Nitride), which allows for maximum lifespan when using coolant. The clearly visible and durable diameter markings in both spiral flutes are laser-etched.
