The HSS-Co spiral drill bit has a long lifespan when drilling stainless steel. This extended lifespan is ensured by the metal alloy with 5% cobalt content and the solid HSS steel that is ground to an excellent surface finish, wear resistance, and heat protection. The two cutting edges and two spiral flutes quickly remove chips, further extending the lifespan. This drill bit is suitable for drilling alloyed and unalloyed steel, stainless steel, cast iron, cast steel, as well as acid- and heat-resistant steel. The HSS-Co spiral drill bit is manufactured according to DIN 338. It belongs to drill type N (small side cutting angle) with a 135-degree point angle and diameter tolerance h8. The point with a cross grind allows for active drilling engagement and perfect centering without wandering.
