The self-centering drill tip with a cross-ground design and a point angle of 135 degrees allows for perfect centering without wandering. Thanks to the cross-ground tip, there is no need for center punching or pre-drilling for diameters up to 10 mm. The precision-ground HSS steel drill bits drill up to 40% faster and require up to 50% less pressure than traditionally ground HSS drill bits. The HSS-G spiral drill bits can drill alloyed and unalloyed steel, cast steel, cast iron, sintered iron, ductile iron, non-ferrous metals, and hard plastics. They are used with drill stands and screwdrivers. The 1/4" hex shank is compatible with cylindrical drill chucks as well as corded or cordless drills.
