Robust installation drill for formwork. The drill and the shank end are screwed together – ensuring a low risk of breakage and optimized smooth operation. The tapered groove and the offset between the drill and shank ends prevent jamming even in damp wood, while providing enough strength to cut through nails embedded in the wood. The drill features an extra-long shank for versatile drilling in multilayer building materials or sandwich materials, such as for construction work (formwork) and interior installations, plumbing, heating, and electrical installations. Suitable for formwork, panels, boards, beams, drywall, lightweight building materials, insulation, and metal, such as metal sheets, layered materials with steel, aluminum, or shaped sheet metal. The installation drill is made of HSS (high-speed steel) according to DIN 7490. It has a drill tip with a 118-degree conical point grind.
