The housing of the BURG-WÄCHTER WinSafe WS 33 lock is made of robust zinc die-cast, providing high resistance against forced entry. The mechanical window lock is VdS-tested and ECB•S-certified for windows made of wood, aluminum, and plastic with a metal insert. The operation of locking and unlocking with the sliding mechanism is extremely simple and convenient. When the locking cylinder is in an open position, the lock can also be unlocked without a key by turning it. In a closed position, a key is required to unlock it. Another advantage: it is always visually clear whether the window lock is in a locked state, eliminating the need for tedious checks. You can easily install this window lock yourself. With just a few small drill holes and a couple of simple steps, the WinSafe unit is securely and stably attached. The individual parts do not need to be painstakingly assembled; you can start the actual installation right away.
