Under the simple name No.10 Forest Knife, Casström has launched a functional yet visually appealing all-purpose knife for all types of outdoor activities such as bushcraft and hunting. The blade, made from non-stainless Böhler K720 steel, comes factory-sharpened to an above-average sharpness. The Casström No.10 Forest Knife is delivered with a beautifully crafted cowhide sheath that securely holds the knife in place.

This knife is also available in various versions made from stainless steel.

Although K720 steel is not stainless, we had no issues with rust during our tests. However, it is advisable never to place the blade wet into the sheath and to oil the knife as needed before storage or when traveling in humid areas. Two major advantages of non-stainless steels are the significantly higher achievable final sharpness compared to stainless steels and the generally easier re-sharpening.
