The DCD708 is a next-generation cordless drill driver featuring a powerful 2-speed drive, yet it is significantly more compact and lighter than its predecessor. Thanks to its brushless motor, it offers a longer runtime per battery charge and a higher lifespan. The optimally tuned 2-speed all-metal gearbox ensures efficient power transmission, while the 15-stage torque module with reliable cutoff torque enables precise screwdriving tasks. With the finely adjustable switch electronics, accurate drilling and controlled screwdriving are achieved, and the integrated safety electronics continuously monitor battery temperature, current draw, and discharge protection for trouble-free long-term use. The device is equipped with a robust 13-mm all-metal keyless chuck with self-centering jaws and automatic spindle lock, a powerful LED light, and a sturdy metal belt hook. The package includes two ultra-compact 18 V XR lithium-ion batteries with LED capacity indicators, which are also compatible with other 18 V XR machines.
