The DeWalt DCG 406 is an 18-volt cordless angle grinder with a brushless motor and a diameter of 125 mm. The innovative brushless motor allows for higher performance with longer runtime per battery charge, more compact dimensions, weight savings, and an overall longer lifespan of the machine. The epoxy resin reinforced windings protect the motor from abrasive dust particles, while the optimized ventilation system in the grinder ensures perfectly adjusted cooling of the machine and electronics, contributing to a longer lifespan. DeWalt's Perform & Protect system reliably stops the disc in less than 2 seconds with the electronic brake to protect the user. The electronic clutch automatically shuts off the tool if it gets jammed, protecting both the user and the machine simultaneously. Both safety systems effectively minimize the risk of kickback. The guard can be adjusted one-handed without tools and, together with the side handle, contributes to a flexible and application-oriented use of the machine. The machine is activated via a switch / dead man's switch that protects the user in seconds in case of unforeseen movements or abrupt stops of the machine should control be lost.
