Product description:

The DeWalt DCG 406 is an 18 volt battery powered and brushless angle grinder with a 125 mm diameter. The innovative brushless motor allows for higher performance with longer run time per battery charge, more compact dimensions, and savings in weight, as well as a generally longer service life of the machine. The epoxy resin-armoured windings additionally protect the motor from abrasive dust particles, while the optimised ventilation system inside the grinder ensures perfectly adapted cooling of the machine and electronics, contributing to a longer service life. DeWalt's Perform & Protect System with the electronic brake stops the disc reliably in seconds (less than 2 seconds) and helps to protect the user. The electronic clutch automatically switches off the tool if it jams, thus protecting both the user and the machine. Both protection systems minimise the danger of kickbacks effectively. The protective bonnet supplied can be adjusted with one hand without the need for tools and, together with the side handle also supplied, contributes to flexible and application-oriented use of the machine. The machine is switched on by a paddle / dead man's switch, which protects the user in seconds in the event of unforeseen movements or abrupt standstill of the machine, should there be a loss of control.
