The centerpiece of the new FOG-X extinguishing lance is the special outlet nozzle. After extensive planning and various field tests, the optimal geometry for our nozzles has been determined. Another unique feature of the FOG-X is the tip, the retractor. Unlike other systems, this retractor is replaceable, allowing the user to vary the spray angle. The result is a finely atomized water jet that has a high heat retention capacity while consuming only 60 - 80 l/min at a nominal pressure of 6 bar. The effectiveness of the heat retention capacity compared to a C-multipurpose nozzle with a spray jet is theoretically around 200%. Additionally, it is possible to attach an extension to the lance, which offers significant advantages for various types of fires such as wood chip fires, silo fires, etc.
