E473 Shark metric spiral flute taps in green. Dormer Shark Line green spiral head taps are designed for non-ferrous materials. They are manufactured from high-quality cobalt alloy high-speed steel (HSS-E-PM) for increased hardness and improved edge retention. The super B coating (TiAIN + WC/C) features a treated edge for excellent performance in a wide range of non-ferrous metals. These taps provide excellent performance in brass and copper, with high wear resistance and low material adhesion to reduce chip build-up and increase productivity. They are tapered for faster and easier chip evacuation.
