When the screw is turned in, the M-S expands and anchors itself in the drilled hole. Advantages: The internal geometry of the M-S allows for the use of commercially available metric screws or threaded rods, enabling optimal adaptation to the application. The edge-free plug sleeve allows for the necessary deep setting of the plug beneath the plaster down to the load-bearing substrate to achieve maximum load capacity. Since the plug only expands in two directions, the expansion forces can be directed parallel to the edge of the building material by rotating the plug, allowing for smaller edge distances. The required screw length is determined by: plug length + plaster and/or insulation thickness + component thickness + 1 x screw diameter. It is suitable for metric screws and threaded rods. To facilitate easy screwing of screws and threaded rods, the thread should be chamfered.
