For controlled screw tightening, this tool features an adjustable working range for both right-hand and left-hand tightening. It has a robust, painted tubular steel construction with a galvanized rectangular mount (9 x 12 mm or 14 x 18 mm) and high-quality plastic parts. The plastic handle includes a calibration aid and can be switched between the main scale in N.m and the secondary scale in lbf.ft. It also has a micrometer scale for the N.m main scale to set intermediate scale values. The jump-off system generates a tactile and audible trigger signal, allowing for quick adjustments with an offset screwdriver (not included). The adjustment system is secured, and the factory calibration gauge measures 17.5 mm (9 x 12 mm) or 25 mm (14 x 18 mm). Operation is only permitted with insertion tools of uniform gauge to avoid value shifts. Depending on the tool used, both forward (e.g., insertion open-ended spanner) and sideways (e.g., reversible ratchet and ratchet spanner) operation is possible. Delivery includes a traceable test certificate according to DIN EN ISO 6789-2:2017, adjusted to a permissible deviation of +/-3%.
