Straightlace is a folding knife from Gerber that represents a modern interpretation of the gentleman's knife idea – a small, convenient, and elegant knife that you can always carry in your pants or jacket pocket. These features make it a perfect addition to your EDC (Everyday Carry) set.

The smooth blade with a sheep's foot profile is made of stainless steel, giving it corrosion resistance and strength. The blade used in the Straightlace is extremely thin (2 millimeters thick), which makes cutting through various materials – such as paper or fabrics – easier.

The notch on the blade allows for easy unfolding of the knife, similar to what is found in Swiss knives and other smaller blades. The knife does not have a locking mechanism; it folds together with a bit of force.

The handle scales are made of anodized aluminum, adorned with a red and white stripe. The clip, which allows you to conveniently carry the knife in your pocket or on your belt, can be switched from one side to the other as desired. At the end of the handle, there is a hole to secure the knife with a cord or lanyard.
