Terminology
The setting head is the part of the blind rivet nut that rests on the visible side of the component. The user has the option to choose from the following variants:
The shaft is the part of the blind rivet nut that deforms during the setting process and secures the blind rivet nut in the component. This creates the so-called closing head. The user can choose from the following variants: Round, knurled, or polygonal (hexagonal or square)
The Material
Customers can obtain the blind rivet nut in application-specific materials such as steel, aluminum, or stainless steel (A2, A4).
The Thread
Standard GESIPA blind rivet nuts are equipped with metric threads, with the steel blind rivet nuts meeting the strength class 8.8 requirements. Upon request, additional dimensions, such as imperial or coarse threads, are available.
