360° infrared motion detector for indoor use. The PIR sensor reacts to minimal local temperature changes, so it registers people, vehicles and animals moving in the detection area, while ignoring swirling leaves or moving branches. It also ignores temperature fluctuations caused by solar radiation, for example. In this way, the motion detector avoids false switching and ensures reliable detection of relevant objects. If the sensor's detection area is entered, the connected electrical load is switched on and automatically switched off again after an individually definable period of time. It is also possible to determine the ambient brightness at which the motion detector becomes active.
