The motion detector can be used as an alarm sensor in the Homematic IP system or for brightness-dependent lighting control by linking it with other Homematic IP products through the free app. The activation duration can be limited in time. In addition to motion detection, the integrated twilight sensor also reports the respective brightness value to the Homematic IP app. The splash-proof sensor operates reliably at temperatures between minus 20 °C and plus 55 °C. It covers a range of up to 12 meters and has a detection angle of approximately 90°. Furthermore, it can be rotated 360°. Thanks to its compact dimensions and wireless communication, the sensor can be placed very flexibly. The required mounting materials, wall bracket, and two AA batteries, which can power the motion detector for up to three years, are included in the package.
