The Knipex StepCut XL is a versatile tool that functions both as a bolt cutter and a side cutter. With its innovative power joint and long handles, it allows for a noticeably easier cut compared to conventional cable shears. The design is intended to provide an enormous capacity, enabling the effortless cutting of single-stranded copper or aluminum cables up to 35 mm², multi-stranded cables up to 70 mm², and fine-stranded cables up to 120 mm². The two cutting areas are specially designed to efficiently cut both smaller and larger cables, while the front cutting edge allows for the gradual separation of very large cables.
