The arm is optimally balanced and holds in any position without readjustment. For safety reasons, it operates with low voltage through a separate, GS-certified power supply. The light color is daylight-like (6500 K), allowing objects to be displayed in color-neutral tones. SMD LED modules provide high brightness and good light quality with optimal heat dissipation. The product is suitable for many applications such as cosmetics, precision mechanics, electronics, or simply as a reading aid. Three different magnification factors of the lens are available, allowing for nearly unlimited applications. It is recommended to choose a slightly lower magnification, as distortions tend to increase with higher magnifications due to technical reasons. It can also be used excellently as a desk lamp. The removable lens cover does not break upon rough impacts; instead, it slides out of the housing due to a deliberate, slight play and is easy to reinsert.

The available models are:

• 3 Diopters (Model 7213MKIII), equivalent to 1.75x magnification (175%), universally applicable.
• 5 Diopters (Model 7215MKIII), equivalent to 2.25x magnification (225%), universally applicable.
• 8 Diopters (Model 7218MKIII), equivalent to 3x magnification (300%), particularly suitable for the highly magnified representation of very small objects.
