With Mean Well's KNX products, we have added smart power supply solutions for building automation to our range. The 640 mA power supply KNX-20E features a slim design of just three standard units (52.2 mm), allowing space for the installation of additional components in limited areas, such as within a control cabinet. In addition to providing power with an integrated longitudinal choke for the bus, the KNX-20E from Mean Well also includes a 30 V output without a choke, which can be used to supply another line or as auxiliary voltage for other components. The mean time between failures (MTBF) of the power supply is over 100,000 hours, determined according to the MIL-HDBK-217F standard (at 25 °C). At high ambient temperatures of up to 50 °C, the manufacturer specifies an expected operating life of more than 30,000 hours.
