Mersen aM and gG fuse links cover a wide range of different sizes and current ratings for 400, 500, and 690 VAC. They are used for the protection of electrical distribution circuits and industrial systems. A large portion of the current ratings is available in sizes 8x31 and 10x38 optionally with indicator and in sizes 14x51 and 22x58 optionally with a striker pin to trigger an auxiliary contact. All cylindrical fuse links consist of a ceramic body and silver-plated contacts. Cylindrical fuse links of the gG operating class are used to protect lines, devices, and systems. They safely disconnect unacceptable overloads and short-circuit currents up to the rated cut-off current. gG cylindrical fuse links also protect electrical devices and systems from the electrodynamic effects of high short-circuit currents. Our technology and manufacturing process ensure highly reliable technical performance.
