Laser-hardened Wear Guard Tip bit tips for precise fit and longer lifespan. Shock Zone geometry - very flexible to absorb impact forces. The flexible Shock Zone reduces the stress on the bit tip and thus the risk of breakage. The combination of the Shock Zone and a special hardening process absorbs impact forces. Special steel: The steel alloy developed for Milwaukee is specifically tailored for Shockwave bits and optimized for use with impact wrenches. As a result, Shockwave bits are more durable and simultaneously more flexible - ideal for tough screwing applications.
