The Hydrangea paniculata "Bobo" is an award-winning and beautiful dwarf panicle hydrangea. It is a compact plant with lovely cone-shaped green-white flower clusters that later turn light pink later in the season. This beautiful flower coloration makes this hydrangea a unique eye-catcher. The panicle hydrangea looks very attractive when planted in groups, but it also draws attention as a solitary plant or in a decorative pot. Due to its flower coloration, the Bobo is also very decorative in the autumn. In short, it comes highly recommended! The hydrangea is also winter hardy.
Care
The Hydrangea paniculata "Bobo" thrives best in full sun or partial shade in well-drained, preferably slightly acidic soil. In dry, sandy soils, the plant does not grow as well. In full sun, the soil must remain sufficiently moist. The flowers develop their best color in a sunny location. The Bobo can be used both as a solitary plant in a pot and as a shrub in a border. The Hydrangea paniculata "Bobo" is very winter hardy (down to -25 degrees Celsius) and blooms from July to September, slightly earlier than most hydrangeas. It also blooms on one-year-old wood and can be pruned back vigorously in early spring (March) to achieve a full shape. Pruning is allowed up to a height of about 30 cm.
