Hello!
The chassis is made of plastic, so it's not heavy. I'd say less than 1kg. The noise in eco mode is less than in full speed mode, but it's not really attenuated by the chassis, at least I haven't noticed any difference. Since it's electric, the noise is less than a petrol brushcutter.

According to the exploded view at a large spare parts dealer who can order from B&D, the engine is not listed as replaceable. You can otherwise order almost all parts, e.g. the gearbox for 14.xx Euros.
It seems that if the motor is broken, it is not repairable?
My search: at wmv-dresden.de, first the unit, then enter the spare part number from the exploded view on the order page.
Unfortunately, this does not exist.

It's not a hit in the set anyway....lotters everything. I only use the trimmer because I have it....I have removed the big wheel.

Since the lawn section has to be swept up, the string does not remain on the lawn, if you can find it at all...... after 10 years, the batteries are gone anyway and the device is no longer usable ... because the batteries will probably no longer be available for purchase. But the device fulfils its purpose 100%.
