The RS Pro bimetal hole saws feature a hardened cutting edge (6 tpi with alternating orientation) welded to a robust alloy steel body. This bonded construction reduces the risk of breakage. These saws are suitable for processing ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, and wood up to a depth of 32 mm. Saws with a diameter of 14 to 30 mm require a 6.5 mm shank, while those with a diameter of 32 to 152 mm require a 9.5 mm shank. Shanks, pilot drills, and core removers are sold separately.
