Perennial wildflower known from roadsides and meadows. In sunny locations, it blooms all summer long and attracts butterflies and insects.
Can be sown in bowls or hobby boxes, in cold frames, or directly outdoors from March. Requires well-loosened soil, and it is advisable to cover the seeds slightly after sowing.
Plants thrive in calcareous soil but also grow well in moist and well-fertilized sites. Pricking of seeds in trays is recommended.
