In early spring or autumn, place in boxes or trays, keep warm (18-22 °C) for 2-4 weeks and maintain good moisture. Then expose to cold (around -5 °C) for 4-6 weeks. After the cold period, do not immediately expose to higher temperatures; instead, keep between 5 and 12 °C. Transplant strong seedlings and later plant them in their final location.
