Sirius Soft Starter S00 12.5 A, 5.5 kW/400 V, 40 °C AC 200-480 V, AC/DC 110-230 V spring-loaded terminals. The Sirius 3RW30 soft starter is designed for standard applications requiring a smooth start for three-phase asynchronous motors. It allows for stepless starting, reduces current peaks, avoids voltage fluctuations during startup, relieves the power supply network, and decreases mechanical stress on the drive. Additionally, it offers significant space and wiring savings compared to star-delta starters and frequency converters, is maintenance-free, and easy to handle. The integrated bypass ensures a compact design and lower heating in the control cabinet. It has worldwide approvals (e.g., IEC and UL/CSA). The 3RW soft starters are available for networks up to 690 V across a wide power range with various control supply voltages and are consistently equipped with screw and spring-loaded connections. For the 3RW30/40, additional variants with a 24 V control supply voltage are available. Some of the 3RW40 up to size S3, as well as all 3RW44, also provide thermistor motor protection.
