Seedling pots are made from a mixture of coconut fiber and wood substrate. They contain no peat and are sustainable and resource-efficient. The pots are 100% biodegradable and designed for direct planting into the soil, eliminating any "transplant shock" for the young plants. The breathable outer walls of the pots allow for the so-called 'Air Pruning Effect', which helps the cuttings develop a particularly healthy and well-branched root system. Due to air exchange at the roots, individual root strands dehydrate, which in turn stimulates the growth of additional root strands.
The pots contain no added fertilizers, and no chemicals are used in the production process, including chlorine-containing substances.

The pots are dried at 300 °C, making them sterile and germ-free.
The SIENA GARDEN seedling pots are an absolute must-have for hobby gardeners. They are available in round and square shapes as well as in many different sizes. The pots are the perfect alternative to heavy clay pots or non-sustainable plastic pots. Although they can only be used once, they have the significant advantage that small plants can root through them. The plant, along with the pot, is planted directly into a container or garden bed, eliminating the cumbersome pricking out process and avoiding transplant shock. The production of the pots avoids the use of fertilizer additives and other chemicals. You receive a pure product for growing your plants.
