Product details

The Simplex Soft Hammer from the 3027 series, featuring a combination of rubber composition and super plastic, is an essential companion for a wide range of applications and is the best-selling combination from Halder. It is available as a sledgehammer in three versions: the smaller variant with a head diameter of 60 mm, a total weight of 1,810 g, and an overall length of 70 cm, as well as one with a head diameter of 80 mm, a total weight of 3,170 g, and an overall length of 80 cm (also available with a rubber insert and a stand base). In the larger version, the head diameter is 100 mm, the total weight is 5,350 g, and the overall length is 100 cm.

The medium-hard rubber insert (series 3202) is highly wear-resistant, shock-absorbing, and odor-neutral, lasting significantly longer than a conventional rubber hammer. The super plastic insert (series 3207) allows for greater striking power than the rubber insert. It is made from medium-hard plastic and constructed from extruded, extremely homogeneous material. Compared to injection-molded plastic inserts, it is therefore much more wear-resistant and durable.

The housing made of ductile iron features an integrated handle protection sleeve that ensures high break resistance. The long-fiber, very stable hickory handle is lacquered and ergonomically shaped. According to the clever Simplex principle, all components are interchangeable and can be retrofitted. This not only saves money but also conserves resources.
