The Kraftangriff Kreuzschlitz Z is an advanced version of the simple cross-force drive from Philips Screw Company. The difference lies in the fact that the four sides of the screwdriver blade do not taper towards the tip. This increases the lateral grip for the bit and reduces the cam-out effect, which occurs in conventional cross-force drives due to the tapering, as the torque of the cordless screwdriver pushes the screwdriver bit upwards.

The countersunk head (or flat countersunk head) carves a recess into the wood with its polygonal underside ("pockets") and can therefore be sunk without additional countersinking of the screw hole. The countersunk head sits flush with the surface.

In contrast to partial threads, the full thread extends along the entire length of the screw. The more thread turns a screw has, the greater the tensile and compressive forces that can be transferred from the screw to the wood. Our full-thread screws are primarily used for high-load wood connections.

The S-tip is characterized by the fact that the thread extends into the front flanks. When you position the screw and start the cordless screwdriver, this thread immediately grips in the wood and effortlessly pulls the screw in. This allows for quick work without scratching the workpiece due to the slipping of the screw tips.
