The SPAX-typical T-STAR plus drive is a so-called hexalobular socket. This shape increases the contact surface of our T-STAR plus and the T-STAR plus bits sit perfectly in the screw head. The best possible power transmission from screwdriver to screw thanks to T-STAR plus enables you to work quickly and much more efficiently than with all other drives. The countersunk head (or flat countersunk head) mills a recess into the wood with its polygonal underside ("pockets") and can therefore be countersunk without additional countersinking of the screw hole. The countersunk head is flush with the surface. In contrast to the partial thread, the full thread extends over the entire length of the screw. The more threads a screw has, the greater the tensile and compressive forces that can be transferred from screw to wood. Our fully threaded screws are primarily used for heavy-duty timber connections. The S-point is characterised by the fact that the thread is formed right into the front flanks. When you insert the screw and start the cordless screwdriver, this thread immediately grips the wood and pulls the screw in effortlessly. This allows you to work quickly without scratching the workpiece due to the screw tips slipping.
