The SPAX multi countersunk head universal screws with T-STAR plus drive guarantee users greater flexibility due to their universal applicability in various materials such as wood, plastic, or metal sheets. The multi-head design with recessed pocket segments, combined with the milling ribs, ensures a clean and flush sinking of the screw into wood and effectively prevents over-torquing when working with metal fittings, creating a solid connection between the fitting and the component. The T-STAR plus (Torx) drive allows for better power transmission to the screw, longer service life, and quicker threading of the screw with a better fit on the workpiece. The integrated 4CUT tip enables screwing without pre-drilling, achieved through the square profile of the screw from the tip to the transition of the thread to the shaft. The 4CUT shape reduces material splitting and significantly lowers the screwing torque. Additionally, the typical SPAX wave profile of the partial thread allows for easy and secure screwing. The new WIROX coating from SPAX provides 20 times higher corrosion protection and significantly greater surface hardness than conventional plain galvanization on screws, greatly expanding the range of applications in outdoor settings.
