Mosquito protection for windows made easy

Annoying insects can be kept away from living spaces with effective insect protection. The Windhager Insect-Stop fly screen for floor-to-ceiling windows quickly protects against mosquitoes, flies, spiders, and more. The fine-mesh polyester fabric is attached to the inner window frame with a self-adhesive mounting tape. Thanks to the drill-free installation and the residue-free removal of the adhesive tapes, this insect protection is also suitable for rental apartments.

Quick installation – quick protection

The installation of the fly screen takes just a few steps:

1. Thoroughly clean the window frame, possibly degreasing with alcohol or a similar product.
2. Cut the fly screen fabric to the required size (using scissors or a utility knife).
3. Cut the adhesive tape and stick it to the inner window frame. Do not apply any load for the first 2 hours.
4. Press the fly screen onto the Velcro tape with slight tension and cut off any excess fabric. Optionally, press down firmly with a brush.

Usage options for a mosquito-proof home

The fly screen effectively requires no space (installation depth: 1 mm) and is ideal for:

• Floor-to-ceiling windows: Windows that extend to the floor, allowing more light into living spaces. They are usually not used as a passage to balconies and terraces.
• Flush-mounted windows: Windows where the window frame and sash are flush from the outside. There is no protrusion.
• Recessed windows: Windows where the window frame and sash do not align flush from the outside, creating a step or protrusion.
