8. Plant in a Box Areca, Asplenium, Clusia, Philodendron, Spathiphyllum - 5 Mix Air Purifying Plants
This mix of green houseplants not only creates a wonderful atmosphere and provides plenty of oxygen, but what makes them special is their air-purifying effect. These natural air fresheners are perfect for the office, but they are also pleasant in living or bedrooms. The plants absorb pollutants from the air through their leaves, which are then stored and broken down within the plant or its roots. Additionally, air-purifying houseplants convert CO2 into oxygen during the day and release water vapor into the air, improving humidity levels. This air-purifying plant mix includes five different houseplants:
Philodendron Atom
The Philodendron Atom is a lovely plant with a compact growth form. It has thick, lobed leaves that make the plant very decorative and unique. The Atom is a smaller, compact-growing species that does not grow very quickly. It prefers a brighter location without direct sunlight.
Clusia Rosea 'Princess'
The Clusia Rosea 'Princess' is a robust houseplant with glossy leaves. It grows in various substrates ranging from swamps to tropical forests and lava landscapes.
Asplenium Crispy Wave

9. Plant in a Box Spathiphyllum, Areca - 2 mix air purifying plants
Areca Dypsis Lutescens and Spathiphyllum are the perfect combination of two popular houseplants with strong air-purifying properties.
The areca palm has many names, but is best known as the Golden Palm. The areca originally comes from the humid tropics of Madagascar, but the plant has conquered almost all tropical regions. The palm tolerates polluted air very well and is therefore widely used in office-like working environments. Areca filters pollutant particles out of the inhaled air through its leaves and thus has an air-purifying effect. The areca palm is one of the best palms for your home. Not only does it filter many toxins from the air, but it also looks beautiful.
The Spathiphyllum is also known as the Peace Lily because the flowers that the plants grow look like lilies. The Spathiphyllum originates from South America. In 1870, the Spathiphyllum was introduced into Europe. Characteristic of this plant are the upright white flowers. The flowers of the Spathiphyllum are always white and often protrude from the plant, which attracts additional attention. The larger the plant, the larger the flowers. A Spathiphyllum can flower several times a year if well cared for. The flowering period lasts up to 10 weeks each time, making it an exceptionally long flowering! The most important aspect of the Spathiphyllum is that it is an air-purifying plant.
Care
Both plants are quite easy to care for. It is important to keep the pot ball moderately moist, but the plants do not like wet feet. Therefore, water in small amounts and feel regularly whether the soil is still moist. The plants also prefer a place in the sun, but avoid direct sunlight. When the Spathiphyllum stops producing flowering branches, it can be stimulated to flower by placing the plant in a cooler place for a few weeks.

10. Plant in a Box Howea forsteriana - Kentia Palme
This beautiful Kentia palm, also known as Howea Forsteriana, is sure to bring a touch of exoticism to your office or living room. The palm originally comes from Australia but is very popular as a houseplant in our regions. This Forsteriana species is also the only Kentia cultivated in our areas. It belongs to the palm family and is one of the oldest houseplants. It is also a relatively slow-growing and robust palm, making it quite easy to care for.
Care: The Kentia is ideal for people without a green thumb, as the plant requires little water. From February to September, weekly watering is sufficient. For the rest of the year, it should be watered once a month. Additionally, the ideal room temperature for the Kentia is between 15 °C and 25 °C. The plant needs a lot of light but does not like direct sunlight, as it can burn its leaves. It prefers a shady or semi-shady location, so it is best placed near a north-facing window. If the leaves turn lighter or yellow, it may mean that it is getting too much sunlight. In that case, move the Kentia to a shadier spot.
Size: The plant has a height of 90-100 cm upon delivery, measured including the growing pot. It is delivered in a growing pot with a diameter of 18 cm, along with 10 liters of Pokon potting soil.
