A self-developed polishing technique ensures a scratch-free surface, allowing for a smooth cut and easier penetration into the wood. Our chisels are factory-made with a cutting angle of 25°, which is excellent for soft to medium-hard woods. However, before the chisels are used for the first time, they should be worked on with a sharpening stone to make the edge razor-sharp. To work successfully with the chisel for many years, we recommend cleaning the tool with a lightly oiled cloth after each use. The oil film applied in this way protects the chisel from moisture and thus from rust. This significantly extends the lifespan and enjoyment of the tool.
